You think about your wedding dress/tuxedo, hairstyle, shoes, table linens, napkins, and wedding florals. Couples tend to forget that their hands are also in the spotlight during their wedding day. Think about it🤔. Your wedding photographer will capture essential moments highlighting your hands; you will carry your bouquet down the aisle, exchange wedding rings, cut your wedding cake, and take photos flashing your new bling. Here are my top 10 Wedding Nail Colors you need to consider for your wedding day.

Why would your wedding day nail color be any less important? 

Your wedding manicure is another fun way to add your personality to your wedding day, whether it is a bold or subtle statement you are trying to make. You can enhance your look with a classic and elegant nude, bold color such as hot pink, or you can show off your playful side with fun glittery nail polish.

After dusting off my personal nail color collections, hours of scouring the internet, and having a spa day or three. I narrowed down my favorite wedding day nail polishes to 10 shades. If you know me you that shades of pink and nude tones are my go-to nail colors. I also stepped out of my comfort zone to test out new colors. I included bold, simple, and playful shades perfect for your wedding day and compliment every skin tone.

The nail colors are broken down by personality type; however, don’t sleep on a color just because you aren’t that style of bride!

• The Classic Bride:

When we think of a classic bride, the nail color palette that comes to mind is nude tones and sheer pinks. These tones are minimalistic, clean, and feminine. They also stand the test of time, show off elegance, and will not steal the show from your wedding gown and wedding rings. Even though these colors are subtle, they most certainly pack a mean punch and will grab the attention of your wedding guests. These two hues are perfect if you are going for a romantic or traditional wedding vibe.

OPI - “Bubble Bath” The perfect neutral, this light pink shade is simple and sweet, yet, still attention-grabbing.

Essie “Ballet Slippers”  This classic pale pink nail polish is graced with a subtle, sheer finish. This beloved award-winning essential is an iconic color for all seasons.

Hands down these two nail colors are the most iconic bridal nail colors. They have been featured in almost every single wedding magazine as well as wedding nail blogs. If picking your wedding day nail color is just too exhausting for you, no need to look any further you cannot go wrong with either of these shades.

• The Bold and Edgy Bride:

When we think of our bold and edgy brides, the nail color palette that comes to our minds is deep and vampy colors. These shades are daring and outside of the traditional wedding box. Most brides think that they can only go with these if they are having a fall wedding. Use your wedding nail color to show off your wild side, and to show the world that you do not play by anyone's rules! These are perfect for a trendy and modern wedding vibe.

Holo Taco - “One-Coat Black” The days of black being an inappropriate color for a wedding is over! This ultra-dark cream polish will show off your edgy personality. Add a glossy holo taco for all you holosexuals out there (IYKYK 😉)!

China Glaze - “Wine Down For What?” This wine/burgundy red creme nail color is China Glaze Cheers! Collection. Let’s raise our glasses to this beautiful nail lacquer!

• Fun and Spunky Bride:

When I think of our brides with bubbly and playful personalities, the color palette I think of is bright colors that you typically see in the spring and summer. #beachvibes #bridgerton

Gelish - “Make You Blink Pink” is one of my all-time favorite nail colors. This neon Barbie pink is a real attention grabber. This color is a real head-turner. You will receive plenty of compliments whether you decide to wear this color on your wedding day or in your everyday life.

Essie - “In The Cab-ana” Who said that your something blue had to be something has to be a small and unseen detail. This aqua azure will certainly show off your fun and spunky personality.

These colors give the feels of a bright summer day, but they also show that fun and spunky brides do not always lean toward a more traditional wedding. They also enjoy living life on the edge from time to time.

• The Glamourous Bride:

When I think of our glam girls, the first thing that comes to our mind is light, camera, and action! The color palette we lean towards for this style is glitters and bold and timeless tones. These colors are perfect for a New Year’s Eve or Christmas wedding.
Mischo Beauty - “Good Kisser” think old Hollywood glamour vibes. This shade is modern and classic glamor at the same time. This genuine red hue is a real head-turner.

Essie - “Summit of Style” You can either top your favorite nail color with a coat of this glitter and jewel nail polish and create a lavish nail look with this cutting-edge, shattered pink diamond glitz lacquer.

These two nail lacquers pair well together. You can do two coats of “Good Kisser” and use “Summit of Style” as a nail topper. For an ultra-glossy look, you can  finish your manicure with a “ Glossy Halo Taco coat.”

• The “Eco-Friendly” Bride:

Being eco-friendly doesn’t mean you are trapped in a small box with limited nail lacquer colors. Most of the nail shades mentioned in this article are “eco-friendly,” free of harsh chemicals, vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free.

Orly - “Sheer Nude” Is another timeless barely-there nail lacquer two to three coats will do depending on how opaque of coverage you are going for. This nail lacquer is vegan and 12 free.
